Each performance is approximately 45 minutes in length and is specifically created for children in grades K-3 and 4-5. The program includes a basic introduction to the instruments (focusing on the SC Arts Curriculum Standards requested by the music teachers), a sing-along/audience interaction piece of music, and a story set to music. For the 2024-2025 season, CMC is creating a new program to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month. The focal story of this program is "Dream Drum Girl by Newbery Award-winning author Margarita Engle.
