EVEN SO, AFRO-LATINX CULTURE IS A DEEPLY ROOTED IDENTITY AMONG THE LATINX COMMUNITY IT IS OFTEN OVERLOOKED IN CONVERSATION ABOUT THE LATINX IDENTITY AT-LARGE. AFRO-LATINIDAD PUSHES AGAINST THIS BY CREATING A SPACE TO LEARN AND REFLECT ON THE CONTEMPORARY EXPERIENCES AND THE INFLUENCES OF THE AFRICAN DIASPORA WITHIN THE LATINX CULTURE.
