AT ITS PEAK, SPENCER SHOPS EMPLOYED 3,000 PEOPLE IN MANAGEMENT AND SKILLED TRADES. IN EARLY DAYS OF TRANSPORTATION HISTORY, RAILROADS WERE A CENTRAL PART OF AMERICAN LIVES. SPENCER SHOPS PLAYED A CRITICAL ROLE IN OUR COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT FOR CITIZENS AND BUSINESSES.
